Balagtasan Bowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

On the last day of all activities and competitions for ‘’Buwan ng Wika’’my two classmates

(Melvin and Omega) asked me if I would like to join with them competing for Balagtasan. Since,that it was the last time that we would be joining that kind of event I hurriedly agreed to them though I was not really sure If I could do it well, because I was really ashamed of what had happened before when I joined the competition for poem recital, that I was suddenly forgot my piece.

            Friday morning, like what I usually do when there is an important event in school, I woke up early and went to the venue, there were only few students there and the classes were not yet started. After an hour the coordinator came and asked the students if who were
the participants for Balagtasan and Talumpati, when the paper for entry was given even though I was not sure if we can do the it perfectly.We
wrote our names there and was happened to be the second performer to compete for that category. The competition began at 8:00 in the morning and there were only tree group was listed on the entries.

Just for the sake of the certificate to be given, because even we lose the battle we still received certificate because there were only three groups to compete. When it  started I wore my costume that I borrowed from my neighbor and next called Melvin and Omega. When we were already at the middle of the competition I kept on laughing and the judges were also laughing everyone was there also laughing because of us. Because of lack of practice we do not know what should we do and we just enjoyed it. After we presented
 the piece Omega told me’’Yun na nga lang ang part mo nakalimutan mo pa, followed by her insulting laugh. When the coordinator called all the participants for the awarding of the certificate every one of us was so happy and felt so proud when we received the second place.
